Authenticity is the foundation of everything we do. Before any watch is listed for sale, it is independently inspected and authenticated by our in-house watchmakers. We never knowingly sell replicas, counterfeit watches, or “Frankenwatches” assembled from non-original parts.
How we authenticate every watch
- Multi-point physical inspection — the case, dial, hands, bezel, crown and bracelet are examined under magnification for any sign of aftermarket or counterfeit parts.
- Movement verification — the watch is opened and the calibre is checked against the manufacturer’s specification for that reference.
- Serial & reference checks — serial and model reference numbers are verified for consistency with the production period and, where possible, against manufacturer records.
- Timing & function test — every watch is run and timed to confirm it performs within tolerance before it is dispatched.
